  • Don’t parents and tax-payers have any voice anymore as to what their kids are being taught. This is another reason for school vouchers. Public education is no longer that. It’s a system not run by the public but by a cabal of left-wing administrators and teachers who are pushing a radical liberal agenda. Seriously, in what context is Arabic of any use to these students but as a way to further indoctrinate them?

  • Most people are tired of the partisanship being displayed by politicians nowadays. It is especially frustrating when people defend the policies of their party when it flies in the face of common sense (the Voter ID law comes to mind). So it was somewhat refreshing to see a Democrat criticize his own party and display a little backbone. Booker did himself no favor backtracking. He now looks like a typical political toady who can smell higher office and has decided to play it safe, sticking to his party’s line. Sure, he will get Democratic support, but Independents will look elsewhere. When are politicians going to learn that the public wants true leaders and not political hacks?

  • A few months ago James O’Keefe did one of his investigations on voter fraud in New Hampshire(?) and it revealed that the liberal progressives there didn’t really care about who was eligible or ineligible to vote. My point being that even if they do all this, what’s to stop the gatekeepers (those at the polls) who want to let anyone vote do so? If Obama is losing in the polls come November I think you will see people running the polls taking it upon themselves to “help” him.

  • I didn’t know Florence Henderson became Governor of North Carolina.

Seriously though, I think the election of this woman and not the vote against gay marriage is what makes the voters of NC look stupid.

  • This strikes me as being true. I never understood his appeal on a personal level. He comes across as as fake and unfeeling (despite anything he may say that is supposed to sound like he’s compassionate or in touch with the common man.) Remember a few years back when they showed pictures of him taken with numerous people at an event and he had the same look in every one? It was kind of creepy. Also, notice how he greets people in the same robotic way: he shakes their hand and with the other hand touches their shoulder. It seems very rehearsed and cold, like something he learned at a business seminar. It’s amazing how it works for him.

  • Why are people surprised? Isn’t this how Socialism works? The elites, who think they know better or are “special” set up a society in which the majority live a basic lifestyle while they live like kings because they are running things. Did the voters really think it was going to be different? You don’t even have to go that far back to see evidence of this, but for some reason the liberal mind remains in denial.

This is why liberal policies fail. Though there may be good intentions behind them, liberals never take human nature into account.

  • Think of all the guff Quayle got for misspelling a word, and how the left attempted to portray Palin as being too stupid to be so close to the Presidency. Then think about Biden and his numerous (and I mean numerous) gaffes and how silent the left is on this man’s apparent idiocy. I just laugh hysterically when he hints that he may run in 2016. All I can say to that is, “Please do!”

  • I’m not one for boycotts, but that joke definitely crossed the line. In that case what are Christians supposed to do? I don’t watch Stewart, but at the same time should I support the advertisers that see nothing wrong with this kind of stuff? Advertisers can choose to support any show they want, and we as consumers can do the same.

  • So “many” people, and the administration was afraid of one woman in a burka accidentally showing up on camera. My feeling is that this woman would have stood out like a sore thumb in a sea of hundreds (not thousands). So they made up the “heckling” charge to get her out. What’s wrong, Obama? I thought the call to prayer was the “most beautiful sound in the world.” Now you can’t even have a representative from that religion being seen in your audience?

  • Hey, Cher, there is no war against women! You’re being a useful idiot for this administration and their lame attempt to convince their constituency that the Republicans are “evil”.

The left is imploding as the election nears and it appears that Obama may actually lose. It’s going to get worse, but in the end it will help Romney. Independent voters don’t want to hear from nuts like Cher. It’s a turn off.
