  • AH, HAHAHAHAHAHA! Bill Clinton trying to “impeach” another man’s credibility by calling him a “known liar.” That’s like Marion Barry dismissing someones accusations by calling them a known drug user. How do these guys live in their own heads?

  • Interesting that someone scrambled the text of the actual court paperwork on the Daily Caller. We need a link to see in perfect legalese just how asinine this suit is. Can anyone point to where we can see the text?

  • Holy cow! Has this PC fear in our shcools gotten out of hand or what? I’m interested to know if the principles decision was based upon his own view of the “life of a man,” or of what he ferared others would say he permitted on his watch. Is he anti-nuclear-family or worried that those who are anti-nuclear-family will give him grief for allowing this. Either way it is a cowardly act. The coward always fears the reprisal of the loudest protestor.

  • The soldiers get to board first because they actually put their LIVES on the line, you piss-ant dope-addled puke! Aaargh! These guys make me so mad. Notice he mentions teachers and nurses, but not cops (or pigs, as he would say). They don’t want us to idolize people that actually sign up to give selfless sacrifice like a soldier (many of whom will return to their jobs as nurses and teacher, by the way).
Oh, the condescension of the academic elite. This guy would welcome the overthrow of the very nation those soldiers fight and die to protect. In his mind he thinks we’d all be happy to work at a state run factory or farm. Would the intellectual elite be there working beside you? Hell no! They would say, “Comrade, we thank you for your tireless labor. But as you know, my talents are better suited to the classroom [and the teacher’s lounge]. I lament that I cannot be of such useful service as you, but know that you have my undying admiration and esteem [sucker!].”
Remember Cuba? Even Castro elevated the soldier. You think Che got the coosh jobs because of his medical training? He got (and sucked at) those jobs because he fought for Fidel. Well, that and because he was an intellectual elite.

  • Wow! I actually felt a level of respect for Piers Morgan. I didn’t have him pegged as the kind of guy who could look dispassionately at a national news story. Though, this Toure guy is certainly representative of NBC News:

He chides others for their lack of journalistic integrity in the same breath as admitting he himself has made up his mind about the Zimmerman’s guilt.

Why should NBC care about what the Robert Zimmerman has to say? They have already decided that it is “misinformation” motivated by a desire to exculpate a family member.

One word describes everything Toure said: Conjecture. If NBC lacks facts or evidence, then they use conjecture, if they lack even that then they simply manufacture the facts and evidence by editing the audio.

Toure and NBC are trying to make this a Rosa Parks moment whether it was one or not. They must use caution though, because this is not 1955. Imagine if it happened today. What kind of ligitimacy would the Rosa Parks catalyst have had if the cameras on teh bus showed she had really just been dragged off of the bus for not paying her fare? If Trayvon is a civil rights martyr then let it come out on its own. If Zimmerman just wanted to kill a black kid, then send him to prison forever. But if neither of those is true then SHUT UP AND WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED!

  • The New York Times. That bastion of free speech. Didn’t they print pictures of Abu Graib and stories from Wikileaks, despite the dangers to American intersts and the safety of soldiers? Wusses. You are as bad as playground bullies picking on the little guys. Will they take on someone who will punch back (e.g.: Radical Islam)? The Newspaper of Record; the Gray Lady they call it. Most of the gray ladies I know are so because they are old and close to dying.

  • Scuzzball

  • More power to them. Occupy prayer! This is the kind of civil disobedience I want to see. When the gov’t comes to try and force these people to shut-up, I will be right there beside them. The ejection of religion from tyhe public area is absolutely unacceptable.

  • That does it! It’s the last straw. I am never going to watch…. oh wait, never mind.

  • How do we know it was a false arrest? There are some small, very conspicuously absent edits in this video. I can’t be the only person to see this. In the video that officers take, if there is any break in the camera footage the plaintiffs always use that as their springboard to a million dollar lawsuit. I don’t want to deny anyone their rights, but what happened in those edits that possibly prompted the response that he got?

Also conspicuous is the fact that this guy is a photo-activist. What’s to say that police erased his video? He could just be saying that they did; throwing the burden of proof to the MDPD officers whose only recourse is to say, “No, we didn’t” (even if they did). Lose-lose for MDPD and now this guy has (thanks to theblaze) the most attention his sorry little cause has ever had.
