  • To Joe.R.Piehole.

First, your screenname is very funny and quite clever, whoever came up with it. Well done.

As for your cynical take on faith and people who practice it, my sense is that people like you don’t want freedom as much as you just want Christians to shut up and go away (not going to happen) and to tear down every historical foundation the country has that relates to faith (might happen).

Do people of faith make you feel bad? Do you feel left out somehow? Did someone in a church somewhere hurt your feelings? Is this really about reason, or is this about you trying to settle a score from something or someone in your past?

I don’t know your motivations. Just wanting you to ask yourself.

Churches are full of people who will let you down. Religion is not enough, either. Claiming Christ as Savior does change lives without checking your brain at the door. I simply believe I don’t have all of the answers. There‘s alot about the world and people and why things happen as they do that I don’t understand. I am willing to admit I dont. I believe I follow the One who does.

You don’t have the answers either, “Joe”. With respect, I suggest you look harder.

God is God, and I am not, and neither are you. I will worship God and claim the name of Jesus. You can worship whatever you like.

    Good luck.

  • The Governor has to lose some weight. We need him!

I just checked the Huffington Post. The comments were very gracious and were mostly those who said they disagreed with Mr. Breitbart but were saddened that a man this young would die so suddenly.

A real shock and very sad.

  • Pat is right. America is committing suicide.

  • Pat is right. America as we know it is committing suicide.

  • Stop helping.

  • These people must be stopped.

  • God help us. For those who think we will be left to worship and live as we please, wake up.

  • Most people, like me, don’t have enough information to know for certain if the state of Israel is indeed acting in a way that goes beyond a vigourous self-defense.

It‘s important America not lose sight of its own interests in the defense of Israel’s.

I do know that if the PCUSA is for it, count on it to be complete b.s. and entirely political. This once important denomination has been reduced to spewing souless, Godless liberal talking points every so often. If it is a church at all anymore, its gods are liberalism and secularism. I was born and raised in the PCUSA and happily, finally left a few years ago. I now belong to the EPC (Evangelical Presbyterian Church) (www.epc.org) and should have moved 20 years ago.

The ever-shrinking PCUSA is now more liberal than ever because so many have left the PCUSA, leaving behind the very old who won’t move and secular, self-centered liberal activists. Many ‘refugees’ have joined EPC churches and the even more conservative PCA, at least here in the South.
