  There is another answer. Any citizen who isn’t a convicted felon can run for a public school board position. School director positions are non-partisan, and positions are normally held for four years.

  In listening to this conversation it is obvous that this teacher is black and at least two of the students in this debate? are white. This woman along with the other 95 per cent of black voters who voted for Obama solely for the reason he is black will never be objective, can’t be objective, don’t know how to be objective when it comes to evaluating this jack ass of a president. Affirmative action is most likely the reason she has a teaching certificate at all. It is not hard to understand how this woman of obvious limited reasoning and intelligence can defend the undefendable. That being said, what are the excuses for the likes of so called conservatives like Condolezza Rice and Charles Payne for admitting voting for him…. just trying to make a “historical” statement? Appparently, someone should explain to them what the phrase “beauty is only skin deep” means.

  Every Christian needs to pray for Glenn Beck. He has NOT been raised from the ground up in the Mormon faith. He was raised Catholic. I believe this man is searching. IMHO he seeks counsel with too many evangelical ministers to be content with where he is spiritually. He believes his mother commited suicide. Many of you know what the Catholic faith teaches about anyone commiting suicide and their destiny in eternity. Glenn’s mother drowned in Puget Sound and yes she was an alcoholic, and both she and the person with her drowned. Double suicide? Personally, I don’t think so. Supposedly, Mary had left a suicide note years earlier.maybe stressed over the divorce from Bill. Who knows. Again, pray for Glenn Beck.. God is not finished with him yet.

  Those were the days when a young unmarried couple collectively found themselves “in the familly way”, about 95% of them actually took on the responsibility and got married. I have met retired couples who have been married over 50 years who fall into that group. Not the perfect way to start out, but their offspring were certainly not on the public welfare dole.

  You may not be the only parent that has the same thoughts. This may turn out to be a blessing in disguise for this university. One wonders if their decision to enforce university hiring standard practices may not have been addressed due to the fact that Christians (or the children of) were not financial supporting or enrolling due to influence, behavior, etc. of existing faculty and non adherence to biblical standards.

  Check your last sentence….and that’s not judging? We are never admonished in scripture to white wash sin…any sin. Christians who have strong convictions regarding homosexuality here on this thread are merely adhering to Gods word, not their word….they didn’t write the book, most honestly attempt to live by it. If these people leaving the unversity don’t like the biblical stance of the scriptures regarding homosexuality, that is their problem, not the universities. I would suspect that their real problem at this university was “loving the sinner, but hating the sin” Unfortunately, as noble a thought as that might be, separating the two in reality is very often impossible….like a drunk and his liquor
