  I don’t know. The easiest way to disrupt rumors of lies is to have someone post a “true” account of the story. Sure, this may be more believable version, but I still think the whole thing could be false. Wouldn’t you admit you where wrong (non-directly) if it would stop people from digging deeper?

  Do ground police or SWAT ever use any sort of lethal grenade? I was under the impression it was limited to gas, flash, and concussion explosives. All of these are non-lethal. I can see why someone might be concerned with a predator drone designed to fire a hellfire rocket. I also see why you would be concerned with a drone that has a grenade launcher. What I do not see is why you are so worried police will add lethal explosives to it? Not only do ground forces not use them, but there is little point in firing a lethal projectile from the air unless it is pinpoint accurate like a sniper rifle team. Until the article comes saying “Police lob incendiaries at drug building” I am not at all concerned about this.

  I get you are concerned that a quarter million dollar aircraft should be valued much less but consider this. 250,000 dollars buys you a surveillance system vs. a police helicopter costing up to 8 million. Now consider the cost of the crews to fly and man the helicopter, and then the cost of airplane fuel. The drone costs 11% of the price tag to operate a helicopter. There are plenty of concerns to be had here but cost is not one of them.

  I see you had a point you tried to make there, and perhaps I would have been able to take it seriously if the article was about police acting illegally in any way. The fact is, simply put; OWS is squatting against the law. They are destroying these places they stay at with litter and feces. There is a gross amount of drug use, just look at Zombie’s pictures if you doubt it. I’m not sure it is even possible to be upset at police who “kick in tent flaps” and remove these jokes of our society. The police did their job. They did it right. I fully support them and any at all other “Occupy _____” rallies.

  tl;dr Post evidence if you want people to listen. You have none. There was no misuse of police power.
