So, Where Do the 2012 Presidential Contenders Stand on Gay Issues?
August 16, 2011 at 9:19pm
No I didn’t vote for Obama. I didn’t vote for McCain either. I voted for Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party. I only voted for two democrats in my life. Bill Clinton in 92 and his wife in the primary in 2008. I didn’t want Obama to win and that is why I voted for Hillary then. If she would have won the primary, I wouldn’t have voted for her in the general election.
As far gay conservatives, you would be surprised how many gay conservatives there are. There are hundreds of thousands of us. There are few gay conservative websites that you can go to. A good one is gaypatriot.net.

You are so right that it is an institution. A failing one at best. half of all adults are married and 40% consider it being obsolete. Mariage is just a piece of paper with a tax benefit that should go away anyways. If you want to cut the entitlement programs, you need to start with the IRS and the loopholes

Being gay myself, I find reading some of the comments in here pretty distasteful. But nonetheless you are entitled to your bigotry.
I also want you to understand that in most cases I am a conservative. I am for a balanced budget, lower taxes, a lower debt ceiling and responsible government. I can’t stand unions and thank Governor Walker for what he has done in my state. I am a proponent of open and concealed carry and we have that as well.
I personally don’t care if I get married or not. I still love my partner that I have had for the last 6 years. Nothing is going to take away who I am or what I do. If you have problem with that, that isn’t my problem. I really don’t care. You won’t see me wearing a weird looking costume in a parade, or even be at the pride parade. Why? Because I am a busy person protecting your life and property as a cop. I also run a pretty successful business that is only getting better by the day.
The thing that is hurting most commentors is they are hurting the causes that even gays, blacks, latinos, the elderly and the young all want, to have the United States of America to be a prosperous nation again.
But if you keep doing what you are doing, you are dividing the Cause which is what we all are striving for….maintaining our freedoms whatever they may be. So take your pick, divide and lose votes and have Obama for another 4 years or partner with those who have similar but not all of the same beliefs and values as you.

‘You Won!’: Feisty Palin Fires Up Wisconsin Tea Party Crowd
April 17, 2011 at 4:01am
Although I am not a really big fan of Sarah Palin as a Leader of this country, I am very proud of her entreprenerial spirit. Don’t get me wrong, I like her as a person, but not someone to lead this country. To be honest, I can’t think of any fron runner leading the pack on the conservative side.
If I had my wish, I would rather see Obama win in 2012 for one reason….let the country and the world see how stupid one liberal wrecked a nation for 8 years so that a liberal never wins sees the light of day as a President of this Country ever again. I want the scholars in the future to see Obama as the biggest failure of liberalism and socialsism in the 21st Century. Then I want the scholars and this Country see what happens when conservatives bail us out of this mess and see that conservatives are true conservatives and care about the nation as a whole.
Support Us or Else: Wisconsin Unions Bully Local Businesses With Ultimatum
March 13, 2011 at 4:46am
I am a police supervisor for a local police department in Wisconsin. I just thought I would chip in here. The union heads are the ones encouraging its members to boycot the businesses. It is up to the individuals if they choose to follow suit. Although I am not a M&I Bank Client (I prefer credit unions) this is a disgrace what the unions are doing.
For anyone on here that is familiar with Kwik Trip (Kwik Star in Iowa and Minnesota) convienience stores, they were also given the same letter by Palmer. I am a customer of Kwik Trip and will continue to be one. In fact I will fill the squad car up with gas at Kwik Trip and Mr Palmer can go pound sand.

Mission Accomplished: Scott Walker Signs Anti-Collective Bargaining Bill Into Law
March 11, 2011 at 3:47pm
Walker was willing to negotiate but the Dems refused his offer. Also the dems were not happy that Governor Walker’s Office released emails about thh Dems attempting to negotiate. Walker had to release emails because it was an open records request by the media.
