Lib Radio Host Bill Press Tells Tebow: ‘S-T-F-U’ (Shut the F**k Up) About Jesus
December 25, 2011 at 6:43am
Another aspect and the main problem the leftist press has is the unabashed proclamation of his faith. Public displays of religious faith are counter to the agenda of the enemies of freedom. The Christian Doctrine tells us to refrain from hiding the light of our faith, but rather to display that light to the world. No one in a free society will be forced to even consider that “light”, if the light is not attractive to them.
Defense Factory Workers Allegedly Caught Drinking, Smoking Pot on Lunch Break
November 26, 2011 at 4:47am
This would be an easy thing to correct if the union wasn’t in the picture. I think that this defense contractor has heard of drug and alchahol testing. I’ll even go so far as to suggest they have a written policy covering this very thing. This company has apparently given too much power and control to the union and now we have drunk and stoned workers building equipment for our warriors. These low lifes are so confident that the union will protect them that they do this openly. I intend to contact this company and insist on knowing how they correct this asinine situation. I will be contacting my congressman also.
Violent Vid: Occupy Protesters Caught in Morning Brawl

They seem to have been smart enough to pick cities with mayors who are on the socialist bandwagon. I saw a list of cities in Tennesee with OWS sites and they all had Dems for mayors. I don’t think they will face much official opposition no matter what they do.

JROOK, I doubt you were in Vietnam because if you were you would know that 58,000+ ,not 50,000, Americans died in Vietnam. You don’t seem to realize that the reason their deaths were meaningless,an extremely bitter pill for us who were there to swallow, was because people like yourself were sucked into helping the Vietnamese communists get us out of there and denying us the victory, and we were winning when your kindred spirits quit for us. Now yourself and other equally uninformed and misled individuals are hell bent on being used by other communists. If you are with the OWS group you have seen them there, and the unique thing about the different marxist orgs. is that they know exactly why they are there and exactly what they are doing . This time you will fail, though, for the same reason the sixties protest was successful. The baby boomer generation. A very large group of older but wiser folks.

This OWS thing is not the answer. The violence is coming from the folks in the park. At a tea party the law enforcement present are watching outward for threats but in thes sit-ins in the park the police are watching the OWS’ers. Apparently for good reason. In Oakland they threw rocks and bottles at police. So save the tirade about Christians for another time. Any of us that are “good” Christians know that Jesus doesn’t want us to kill anybody. Not even cops. But He does want us to defend ourselves and this country against her enemies. So if any group decides to employ violence to advance their agenda they better not expect a lot of soft targets. You haven’t seen any tea partiers engaged in violence. You don’t want to see that.

The list of supporters also gives us a hint as to the direction this movement will go. I can’t see any of these supporting entities doing much that is going to be good for us folks. The minions in the park are just there to provide a hammer for these entities. The day will come when the rest of us, and there are many more of us than some acknowledge, will have to make a choice. Many of us are preparing for that day. I made my decision in 1967 when I was in Vietnam. I will not allow a bunch of useful idiots to ruin this country. I watched a similar bunch of idiots, who were working for the Vietnamese communists(most without their knowledge) manage to dictate policy to our “government”. The tea party rejects leadership for this very reason. If you look to yourself for leadership you know where you will end up if you are successful. If you follow someone else you may not go where you want to. Does anyone imagine that Jim Jones’ followers had any idea of their final destination? These kids in the park don’t either. The leadership does, though.
Olive Garden: American Flag Display Would ‘Disrupt the Dining Experience’

I think you miss the point. This is about a matter of choice. I choose not to patronize a business if it excludes the American flag. You certainly may choose to go places where you are not disturbed by such displays but I actually enjoy seeing Old Glory. That some folks ignore or are ignorant of proper protocol is another issue. I don’t expect businesses to dislay the flag but I am offended when they exclude it. Again, my choice. And a case could be made that this is part of a culture war on things like Christianity and Patriotism.
Olive Garden: American Flag Display Would ‘Disrupt the Dining Experience’

As an American you have that choice. As for myself, I served under that flag in Vietnam and I can choose to eat where I’m comfortable, also. I paid for that right and I’m going to excercise it.
Meet America‘s ’53%’ – And They Have a Message for the ‘99%’ Protesters
October 8, 2011 at 6:27am
I am the son of a farmer and started working full time when I was twelve. During the school year I worked weekends and then nights when I turned 16. I went into the military in ‘65 and to Vietnam in ’67. These OSW mobs daddies spit on me when I came home but I was working within a week and sill put in 60 or 70 hours. I attended community college for two years(still working full time,GI bill only covered tuition and books) I had the misfortune to live in Oregon when Jimma got elected and finally had to leave for Phoenix. I arrived there with $30 dollars but made it by living in a tent, sneaking showers at a truck stop, and hustling for day jobs until I landed a job and moved my family down.
I made it to Texas in ‘88 and intend to stay.
I’ve never asked for anything other than a chance to work and earn what I need. But those that think they can take what I’ve worked for better be advised. They will find no soft target here. And sometimes the best defense is an offense. In that case, may God be with them. I am not alone in this.
In Galveston,Texas there is a statue(Tribute to the Heros of the Texas Revolution) where the lady on the top is extending the olive branch of peace with her right hand while holding a sword in her left hand. That says it for me.
Politico Issues Correction After Palin Camp Bashes Authors for ‘Making Up’ Quote
June 11, 2011 at 8:38am
One commenter said that speculating as to what someone may be thinking is legit. He doesn’t mention that journalists are schooled in how to write one thing, but leave the reader with the impression that the opposite was said. My impression is that the average reader was thinking Palin actually spoke the quote, after reading the article. The uptake is,judging from the bulk of these comments, that most of us have snapped to the fact that we cannot take our medias words to the bank.
