  • You guys going to update this now that Barry O has admitted he fabricated his “girlfriends” ?

  • Nope. It would be a Democrat, and they’d try to pin it on a Christian gun-clinger. The Muslims still think he’s just doing the Takiya and Kitman thing right now.

  • And it will be done 11 years after. You know what that numbers guy Beck has on periodically says about 11!

  • Clausewitz talked about war, saying that it was awful and that it should be taken very seiously. These ivory tower types that post on here “those guys shouldn’t lower themselves to that level” are retarded…and very clearly havent any idea about what war is or what goes on. War isn‘t a gentleman’s game of fisticuffs, there hasn’t been anything honorable about war where men make contact with each other since people were swinging swords. Some of these troops are into their 5th and 6th year long deployment over there with an ungrateful group of people just as likely to be siding with the TB/HQN or HIG as with us or HN forces – it‘s a wonder the troops aren’t cutting off ears and putting heads on spikes… or violently self destructing back here Timothy McVeigh style. You guys with delicate sensibilities who don‘t want to see anything so ugly as war need to start voting for politicians that don’t send troops out to wag-the-dog conflicts and nation building.

  • No American or European manufacturing location is going to be able to compete with Chinese slave labor – there will be no surge in “green” jobs, except for small numbers of maintenance guys.

  • Soldiers are probably a little different than meter maids, mailmen or DMV employees. Nice sweeping and inaccurate generalization.

  • Bah. This isn’t surprising or uncommon. Ask some (ex) SOF people if they ever took advantage of being in a remote location. Anyway, people are people, and the Sec. Service has it’s share of people without common sense as does every other organization. The Washington Post wants to play up the infidelity angle on (”Wheels up, rings off”) this and make it into a big deal – wanna bet stupid stuff doesn’t happen with their intrepid (non) reporters when they‘re off on ’assignment’ also?

  • I’d be curious to see what the mechanics of the poll was, I wouldn’t be surprised to see significant skew. Nevertheless, that a bunch of “secular Jews” would be hostile to Christians is unsurprising. They’re apostates to their own religion as well – the Torah doesn’t support homosexuality, infanticide, pornography, pedophilia or any of the other “lifestyle” issues that seem to be in vogue nowdays either. I’d bet that the group polled would be equally hostile to devout Jews.

  • Water and whatnot aren’t going to be a consideration. Very likely a conflict is going to erupt between Iran and Israel, the only question is going to be who will start it. No matter who starts it, Iran will block Hormuz, the cost of oil will rise stratospherically due to speculation. Europe will be the ones to feel the most shock (we don’t get our oil from there, mostly), but will pull every string politically and diplomatically to have us call off our Jewish dogs. Russia and China are supporting the Iranians, and have been itching to stick it to us (Russia for the collapse of the Soviet, and China just because our current crop of politicians are stupid…and they want Taiwan, and power, did I say power?). The Muslims have demonstrated in Afghanistan and Iraq that Sunni and Shiite would unite to fight the infidel… It would be very easy to see a world war come up out of a dust up between Israel and Iran.

I’m just not sure the pieces are in place for this summer. Further, I‘m not sure that we won’t be trying to shoot down Israeli jets ourselves.

    In reply to Gourdy.

Whatever. Try reading what happens when you shake the dust off your feet when you leave a place (Luke 9:5), which is very Christian. The atheist was up (still up to) to evil and certainly asking God to get him off the pastor’s back is appropriate. Using a biblical template is even better. Weak “Christians” who can’t tell good from evil are why the church and this country are so screwed up.
