  • @Maccow:

Oh. My. Gosh. What you pointed out was amazing. The twin towers’ ruins in the background of the soldier painting = beautiful. Did you recognize the symbolism of the Roman soldier right up front? That was beautiful.

Did you also see Fredrick Douglass in the background of the Constitution painting? As well as other key slaves next to him? Teddy Roosevelt is also to the far right of that painting, which is also the far left on Jesus’ hand.

I love what a spiritual impression these paintings left. I’m going to invest in the Constitution and soldier one. They are amazing.

  • I think I’m moving to Israel. ;)

  • As a Harry Potter fan, I find this to be ridiculous. Yeah, there might be some connection, but really?! Probably just a MAJOR coincidence, nothing else. This is really, really, low for The Blaze.

In most books people see connections between events in real-life and the time period it takes place in. It’s not uncommon. I wouldn’t be surprised if J.K. Rowling wrote in a few ties to Al-Queda, but this really is just a stupid article. Harry Potter and Bin Laden ties–it’s more hilarious than anything else–but stupid.

Because Jon Huntsman Jr. was the Utah governor for some time, you can ask some Utahns, he wasn’t that great of a governor. He had a very liberal side of him, and many Utahns disagreed with some of his policies.

To answer your question, he is pretty much opposite of his father. Not much like him. Indeed, he is the black sheep.

Jon Huntsman Sr. is an incredible man, his son does not reflect who he is.

  • Dear Mr. Olbermann,
Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, and Sarah Palin have NEVER called for violence. If you are going to continue to destroy your ethos by accusing them and the tea partiers of being violent people, I would very much like it if you got your facts straight before you make a fool of yourself on national television. If you still don‘t believe that we aren’t calling for violence, you will find evidence enough from the speeches given at Restoring Honor Rally at the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 2010, and how the tea partiers were much more well-behaved than the following left-wing, union rally held on October 10, 2010. And if that isn’t evidence enough, maybe it would be smart to send Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and Sarah Palin a letter and ask them for yourself what they really are doing. Enough of the media backlash where people aren’t communicating face to face. Have a conversation with them, and actually find out for yourself what we believe.
    Sincerely,
