  Gram lived to 101, was also Russian born. All her life on the farm, or most of it. L.I. potatos.
  Even in her last few years, when visiting, I’d surely ask, ” How’s everything, gram ma”? and she would say, “50/50″. She made it without one kidney, that went in her 40′s. Back when chickens didn’t come in Styrofoam,; they ran around the yard without a head until they bled out. Then it was the kid‘s job to dip em’ and strip em’. Life’s lessons.   There are many other places, but …I CRY for New York, and New York City. Having been born out on “the Island”, I was raised Irish Catholic. Gone are the days of Ozzie &Harriet..It‘s getting a bit funky around the Ol’ Home(y) stead nowadays. All the way up to Maine, although the Governor THERE has taken a stand, and a HARD one, against the “green’s”, the commie’s, the liberals…..And Bloomberg/Schumer? Gimme a BREAK! Looks like Cuomo has tasted reality, we’ll see.
  I also lived and hunted out west(Montana) and we noticed a trend out there, all the way into Alaska. Liberals coming out of Universities were MAKING career choices based on what they wanted to SAVe, what they wanted to PROTECT such as animals( no hunting lies) and Forestry ( No tree cutting, we need to make our homes out of tofu). As hunters, a good tactic to see if there were good populations of the animal you sought for your freezer, such as elk, we would call and ask the regional STATE orFEDERAL biologist in charge how things were looking for elk up in district B-1. They would not tell you ! A friend asked the girl biologist, Why won’t you give me that info…, it’s your JOB”, and she replied(truly) ” I’m NOT going to tell you peoplewhere the elk are! All you’ll do is go out and KILL them ! Same with teacher’s. What profession is best to indoctrinate the young minds? How to brainwash a child? Put yourself in a position that kids respect, then have a device to make sure you can’t be fired

  May or may not be directly focused on the blogpoint, but : Can anyone explain to me? Israel helps us with intel, support, etc. in the War on Terror–hence we , meaning this Obama regime, throw Israel under the bus. Libya had it’s fangs pulled LONG AGO, and was no threat–We attack Libya to “avert a humanitarian crisis”. It’s not going well. The rescue, I mean. SYRIA, who aid, abet, arm, train, etc. fighter’s and send them to Afganistan to KILL AMERICAN TROOPS, plus they are killing their own people every day…And? //We “sternly” warn Syria. IRAN sends it’s elite Guards to Iraq /Afgan. to train jihadists in the killing of AMERICAN TROOPS, we know this, we have many weapons with “Made in Iran” stamped on them, and we….“Sternly” admonish Iran, PLUS, they kill , imprison, torture their own people, and how is that not worthy of an airstrike or two…or three. So, we have all these “ humanitarian crises” that should be halted , we show our “outrage”, and we…..Invade Libya??

  They , meaning every Democrat living and/or dead, said that GWB went into Iraq “for the oil”, nothing else, not the fact that Ol’ Dead Guy Soddohm was killing his own people, just for oil. What is the purpose of Libya, which has FAR less oil than Iraq? O’Bama wants to look like a Muslim War Chief, that’s why. It’s all about da votes, homey’s.

  Being a former Montana resident, I have a couplla questions.
  The story says, The owner of the pig had purchased it for BREEDING’… then it says, A MONTANA “woman’ was the owner, and she gave the “Proceed with extreme prejudice” order to take out the pig.

  I want to know what town that MONTANA woman isfrom? ( there are some remote places in Montana, and it get’s VERY lonely sometimes), and also, if she can’t be tried for transporting a pig across state lines for the purpose of “breeding” ?….. Maybe also a picture of this woman?? So If I happen to see a minivan with a duct-taped window trolling the neighborhood……
