  They were, then conservatives on the Supreme Court said that citizens have no business knowing where political money comes from, hence Citizens United. Do conservative judges turn crooked once they get to the Supreme Court, or is the principle of a small and honest government a lie?

  I love Paul, but I feel Johnson is a better choice. I’d love a Johnson/Paul or Paul/Johnson ticket. None of these mainstream ****** running like Perry or Santorum stand a chance against Obama. The youth vote will turn out in droves to vote for Obama, but would be split if they had the chance to vote for a libertarian. Especially these two libertarians who say that the war on drugs is a complete waste of money.

  Wow, the man whose name is synonymous with a rectal discharge is the only one with the testicular fortitude to stand up for what he believes in and criticize Reagan, instead of blindly accepting what his party wants him to? I can‘t believe I’m actually impressed with Rick Santorum.

  That is what I learned “nation” means in school. There is within America a Christian nation, but America is not a Christian nation. There are far too many non-Christians for it to be so. The founders had no intent of this country being a Christian nation (or any other nation for that matter,) or they would’ve checked people for Bibles at the border. Instead they intended for this to be a free country, for us to join together as an American nation.

  Yet you want to weaken the USA by dividing it. Why?

  You know, an AR-15 can be sold as a semi-auto and modified to fully auto. THAT is what they’re talking about, though yeah, it’s an exaggeration. I don’t think anyone should own a gun that was designed to kill people (as opposed to hunting rifles, breakover shotguns, etc) without a complete safety course that takes longer than 3 hours on a weekend. And NO full auto weapons.

  This would be why Martin Sheen advocates the separation of church and state. Not everyone in America prays, and the majority shouldn’t get to have its way with the minority.

  Imagine if enough Muslims moved into America or enough people converted to Islam. Wouldn’t you start one hell of a fight if they wrote a law demanding you face Mecca and fall to your knees every afternoon? That’s the reason why the First Amendment exists! If you want everyone else to leave your Second Amendment rights alone, then leave their rights alone as well! Stop the government sanctioned religious activities!
