Are you ready for some football? How about a blast from the not so distant past? Country music icon Hank Williams Jr. will be returning to ESPN's "Monday Night Football" this fall.
Back in 2011, then-president Barack Obama and then-Speaker of the House John Boehner played a round of golf together. Williams said it was "one of the biggest political mistakes ever" because Obama and then-vice president Biden were "the enemy."
Williams added, "It would be like Hitler playing golf with Benjamin Netanyahu." ESPN terminated their relationship with him over those remarks.
Now amidst falling viewership, ESPN is welcoming Williams back to recapture the Monday night football fever.
