Central banks are rapidly driving society toward a cashless system

Chris Martenson, co-founder of Peak Prosperity, joins The Glenn Beck Radio Program to discuss his prediction that society will soon forego cash entirely in favor of purely digital currency at the behest of central banks. The ostensible reason for this initiative is the tendency of drug cartels and other illegal operations to traffic exclusively in cash, especially high denomination bills. However, Chris explains that the banks' true motivation is much more insidious.

"The war on cash is really rooted in the idea that central banks would love to be able to push you into negative interest rate territory," Chris explains. "They feel constrained by the idea that you could take your cash out of the bank and no longer be subject to their policies. And they've been pretty open about it."
