Children can't be pilots and other reasons more of them are alive today

Stu Burguiere made learning about the reduction in child mortality FUN! with a series of increasingly absurd analogies on the "Wonderful World of Stu."

In the past 25 years, we as a species have managed to reduce child deaths from disease around the world by 17,258 per day. So why do people believe poverty and conditions for children have become worse?

According to Stu, we only see bad news because no one wants to report on how the innovations of capitalism (such as pharmaceuticals and free markets) have improved conditions across the globe.

Stu implored all of us to celebrate this good news with a kid, even if you have to borrow one (but please ask first).
