Detroit drug sting goes awry when undercover cops bust separate group of undercover cops

This isn't a Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode. This is real life.

During today's "Chewing the Fat" with Jeffy, the guys read some of the whackiest headlines making news this week which included a cop brawl in Detroit.

Apparently, officers from Detroit's 11th and 12th Precinct were simultaneously conducting drug stings on Andover Street in Detroit.

One Precinct posed as undercover buyers and the other as undercover drug dealers. They ended up busting each other during the drug sting. There was a scuffle and two officers ended up injured.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said it was the most embarrassing thing he's ever witnessed in the department.
