Fast Facts: GMOs

Liberals think conservatives are anti-science, but Doc Thompson observed that they sure do seem confused by genetically modified organisms, more popularly known as GMOs. Add in vaccines, anthropogenic climate change, and gender and you have reason to send a few Democrats to remedial science class.

Some liberals believe that GMOs are a whole new species, but the World Health Organization has a much more simple definition. Doc explained that science has made foods more disease resistant, heartier, more nutritious...see a pattern?

GMOs have decades of research behind them, with studies showing them to be harmless.  Liberals, on the other hand, have a whole conspiracy theory centered around a retracted 2012 study.

So who's anti-science?
