Filmmaker who wants use love to fight ISIS may get his chance with fundraiser

If documentary filmmaker Josh Fox had his way, the United States would be dropping hugs on ISIS rather than bombs. Journalist, producer and director Phelim McAleer, who has a bit of a personal history with Fox, joined Dana Loesch on "Dana" to share his efforts to help his film nemesis do exactly that.

McAleer famously crowdfunded his film "FrackNation" in an effort to refute information about fracking presented in Josh Fox's film "Gasland."

He has now started a crowdfunder on funding site Generosity to send Fox on a diplomatic mission to talk with ISIS.  He hopes to raise at least $2,500 to cover costs. While flights from New York to Afghanistan are "only $1,400," with the extra funds he also purchase a "bunch of roses" to hand the violent group as a friendly gesture.
