Freedom Caucus member explains health care compromise

The conservative House Freedom Caucus has announced support for an Obamacare replacement. Support from more moderate members of the GOP in the House is uncertain, but the Freedom Caucus says it’s on board with the addition of a new amendment, as reported in USA Today. Tonight on "Dana,"  Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) joined Dana Loesch to justify the compromise over state waivers from certain Obamacare mandates.

Jordan insisted the compromise does not signal that the Freedom Caucus has given up. He claimed they want to move past this issue in order to turn to other pressing matters such as border security and reforming the tax code. With state waivers, he confessed, "this is as good as it's gonna get."

He was hopeful this compromise will gain enough support in the House to move the legislation to the Senate.
