Glenn reviews ‘Guardians of the Galaxy' sequel

Glenn Beck gave a rave review of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel on Tuesday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” calling it “close to the most perfect movie I’ve ever seen.”

Acknowledging that it’s hard for sequels to live up to the original movie, Glenn said that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” did that and more. The Marvel offering, which stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, opened last weekend in theaters.

Glenn managed to praise the movie’s music, cast, script and production values without giving away any major spoilers. “The special effects are incredible,” he said. “They do things like seeing the shock wave off of the wings of things when they’re in the atmosphere. … It was the attention to detail that was just incredible.”

While he was nervous about the addition of new characters, Glenn assured Stu Burguiere and Jeffy Fisher that “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” did not have its own Jar Jar Binks. Finally, no, Glenn did not feel the need to parse the plotline to see if there were inconsistencies. “It’s a raccoon driving the ship, so please don’t talk to me about holes in the plot,” he said.
