Katelyn Maeda delivered a passionate take down of Twitter trolls who made repulsive comments about Otto Warmbier's tragic death following his return from North Korea. He arrived in the United States in a comatose state, which was reportedly his status shortly after he was detained and through his entire ordeal.
Left leaning media not only blamed Warmbier for his own detention, but mocked him after his death. Online magazine Salon called him a "frat boy" and Comedy Central's "Nightly Show" did an entire segment blaming him for the regime's treatment of him.
She said if her brother who was dumped at her doorstep after being beaten and someone said such things to her, "Congratulations. You mean nothing to me, and you are successfully desensitized."
