Lawsuit alleges social media sites provide "material support" to help ISIS

Attorney Keith Altman joins Dana to discuss a pending lawsuit that alleges social media sites like Twitter and Facebook play a hand in providing "material support" to ISIS.

He claims that these companies are "fully aware ISIS is using their platform as a tool to conduct these operations." He informs Dana there are measures that the companies could employ to interfere with ISIS activity, yet for some reason the sites refuse to step in, possibly out of concerns that such a  crackdown would hurt their revenue.

Dana cites a particularly striking example of this phenomenon wherein someone from the Muslim Brotherhood received a verified account from Twitter: "A lot of people were wondering how is this possible because they have been designated — at least by many in the administration — as a terror group."
