President Obama was remarkably tight-lipped about his post-presidential plans in the run-up to the 2016 election. In the wake of Donald Trump's victory, however, he has started slowly laying the groundwork for some sort of television show or web series, according to comments he recently made to Mic.com and Rolling Stone. Glenn Beck is stunned that Obama is being widely praised for the type of media involvement for which Trump has always been roundly condemned.
"Speculation is that although he won't be starting a traditional media company, he is going to get into the media," Glenn says. "Now let's watch the media celebrate this president if he does half of what Donald Trump was most likely going to do if he lost the presidency. Let's see them speak out of both sides of their mouth yet again."
