Peace process in Israel right now is essentially 'non-existent

Dana is joined by Benjamin Weinthal, European Affairs Correspondent at The Jerusalem Post, to discuss moving the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Dana feels there should be no hesitation by the President-elect in this decision.

She poses the question to Benjamin asking, "What has Israel gained from constantly placating to organizations that keep threatening the destruction of peace, because it hasn't changed anything."

"The peace process is non-existent," Benjamin says. He discloses how Israel has two partners, one of whom is a terrorist entity that Israel won't negotiate, with namely Hamas, and there's the Palestinian Authority which has continually refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

"Why moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem would be an impediment to the peace process is a bogus argument at this point," Benjamin states. "I think it would actually not destabilize the situation, the only question is how does the U.S. Government do this?"
