Report: Woman kidnapped at knifepoint fends off attacker with concealed firearm

If the worst were to happen, wouldn’t you rather be prepared?

A man in Illinois has been charged with “aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery with a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and aggravated assault” after allegedly forcing himself into a woman’s car and threatening her at knifepoint.

When they struggled, he cut her arm with the knife. A concealed carry permit holder, the woman followed his instructions to drive to a certain location – and then pulled out her firearm when they stopped. She told police that the suspect fled once he saw her gun.
