Republicans owe it to the American people to deliver on health care reform

John Hart, Editor-in-Chief at Opportunity Lives, joined Dana Loesch on "Dana" to discuss what may be in store for a possible health care bill in the future.

"Could Republicans have fought harder to come up with something that was a little bit more acceptable to either side, and secondly, when do you think we're going to return to this particular issue in Congress?" Loesch wanted to know.

"I wish this would have gone on longer; there could have been improvements made, people could have come to their senses and come up with a better plan," said Hart, going on to wonder if Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis) rushed it through because he believed it to be doomed for failure.

"In some ways the failure justifies that rushed timeline, but I hope we come back to it tomorrow. I hope Jim Jordan or Mark Meadows puts forward a plan B and says, 'Look we cannot live with Obamacare, we have to try this again, we have to send something to the president,' but I think that the president is waiting on conservatives to act at this point," Hart declared.

"I would love to see Ryan say, 'No no, we're coming back, we're going back to the table, and we're going to hammer something out now," Dana agreed. "I think that they owe that to the American people, especially with everything that we've seen this past week."
