SMU Student Senate passes free speech resolution -- Allie Stuckey explains what it means

Free speech is under attack on many college campuses, but there are a few students at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, who are fighting to ensure the First Amendment remains intact, even on college campuses. Allie Stuckey spoke with several students on campus including Colin Smith, a student at SMU and co-author of the free speech bill.

"Basically, this bill is a guarantee by the SMU Student Senate, and therefore the SMU student body, that we stand by free speech. We stand by the First Amendment and we want to protect that," said Smith.
