The budget proposed neither kills children nor cuts down the debt significantly
May 26, 2017
Glenn Beck and the Think Tank panel discussed President Donald Trump's proposed Fiscal Year 2018 budget on "Glenn," which includes a trillion dollar stimulus package.
Elle Rosen of the Dallas Libertarian Party said the budget also increases defense spending and funds for building the wall. Neither party wants to reduce spending, and they want tax cuts to be revenue neutral.
Meanwhile the left claims this budget means Trump wants to kill children. All it really does is provide a decrease in the rate of spending increase. Glenn stated we're never going to be able to pay off the national debt.
Caleb Parker felt that Trump should use all the political capital he got from winning and hammer home the debt issue. Glenn told each of the candidates during the campaign except Trump to take bold stands to pull America back from the brink.
He did not believe the president will sacrifice his popularity to do the right thing.
