President Donald Trump has followed through on his campaign promise to forgo his presidential salary, donating his first three months' pay to the National Park Service, and your favorite TheBlaze hosts have something to say about it.
Press Secretary Sean Spicer presented a check for $78,333.32 to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke at a press briefing earlier this week. Spicer says the check is President Trump's salary for his first quarter in office, starting January 20th.
According to Zinke, the large donation will be put towards maintaining historic battlefield sites.
Our hosts' reactions ranged from indifference to criticism of the National Park Service to speculation regarding Trump's motives.
Jeffy Fisher's take, meanwhile, was somewhat simpler: "It's because he likes animals. They mean a lot to him."
