Upton Sinclair, author of 'The Jungle,' had a miserable home life

Glenn Beck talks about Upton Sinclair, author of famed meatpacking industry exposé "The Jungle," and the unwanted child that drove him to leave his marital home. Sinclair's unhappy childhood caused him to never want to have children, so he and his wife attempted to kill their unborn child in the womb but were unsuccessful. After the child's birth, Sinclair threw himself into his work, which ultimately led to "The Jungle" and his other progressive political novels.
