Vegas survivor goes from 'agnostic' to full-fledged Christian: 'I'm a firm believer in God now

During this dark and maddening time, several amazing stories of survival continue to emerge after an innocent, non-suspecting audience came under fire at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival where country music singer Jason Aldean was performing (read the full story here).

Take Taylor Benge for example. He told his story to CNN's Rick Berman and admitted that before the shooting, he was agnostic. After the shooting, he was a full-fledged Christian because he could simply not believe he made it out with his sister unscathed.

"I can't speak for everyone, but I was agnostic going into that concert and I'm a firm believer in God now because there's no way that, you know, all that happened and that I made it and I was blessed enough to still be here alive talking to you today," said Benge.

Here at TheBlaze, we're shaken and deeply saddened by the actions that took place in Las Vegas last night. Today on radio, we discussed the shooter, his motives, gun laws, and the complete disregard for human life in today's world.

We hope none of you were affected while we continue to pray for those who were.
