U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home to the NFL's Minnesota Vikings, has come under fire from environmental and animal protection groups for its impact on local wildllife. Apparently, the stadium's 200,000 square feet of reflective glass causes over 500 birds to perish each year from flying into the glass.
In response, the The National Audubon Society has signed an agreement with the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority and the Vikings to undertake a full study of the phenomenon and its possible solutions, which should be completed in 2018.
