Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) has an announcement planned for today. Will he resign? After news anchor Leeann Tweeden shared her story and a photo of being groped by Franken, multiple women have come forward to allege that they were groped by the senator.

As we wait for Franken to decide either way, Glenn pointed out that the Democrats delayed urging Franken to resign until half a dozen women had accused Franken of inappropriate behavior. Doing the right thing has become politically expedient.

"Do I doubt the suddenly newly found scruples of the Democrats? Absolutely," Glenn said.
