Watch: Millennial shares why International Women's Day is a step backward for women's rights
March 10, 2017
Allie Stucky, author of The Conservative Millennial Blog, joined Dana Loesch to discuss why Wednesday's International Women's Day was a step in the wrong direction for women everywhere.
Stucky said watching the day's events gave her a feeling of embarrassment for females in general, adding that there are many more productive ways to actually fight for your rights. For example, she said, "Be the best. Be better than the guy next to you if that's what you want to do."
Stucky said the way to fight for women's interests is not to walk arm in arm and sing a civil rights song you don't know the words to. Instead, she suggested, protesters should educate themselves on what civil rights really are and whether or not they're actually being threatened.
