Watch: This woman’s bigoted rant in Starbucks went viral – Doc had an epic response

A woman in a California Starbucks accidentally went viral when she yelled at other customers because they were speaking Korean. A tutor spoke Korean while working with a community college student, and it took them a minute to realize the woman was angry at them.

“Especially that Oriental. I hate it,” she said in the rant captured on video. “You know what, President Obama said that everyone in here, the majority in America, should speak English,” the woman responds.

“I’m sorry, but they are allowed to speak their language,” a barista responded.

On today’s show, Doc played this clip and reprimanded anyone who is trying to use arguments for legal immigration to fuel their racism and bigotry. There’s a world of difference between saying that immigrants should learn enough English to navigate road signs and threatening them because they’re speaking another language in a coffee shop.
