What we know
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was mowing his lawn Sunday when his 59-year-old neighbor, Rene Boucher, tackled him.
What we've heard
It was initially reported that Paul's injuries were minor. However the stories soon changed, revealing that the Senator suffered six broken ribs and bruised lungs.
The attacker's motive has, according to reports, morphed from a personal dispute over landscaping to undisclosed political motives, which will likely result in "federal charges."
Glenn's take
"Something isn't right. The inconsistencies are just bizarre," said Glenn on today’s show. He later added, "Welcome to the new norm in violent US politics."
