Watch: Yes, NBC, kids 'mess with' your environment – but people shouldn’t stop having babies

NBC recently published a contributor’s “thought experiment” headlined: “Science proves kids are bad for Earth. Morality suggests we stop having them.”

In the article, Travis Rieger wrote that “we need to stop pretending the decision to have children doesn't have environmental and ethical consequences,” arguing that people need to consider their future kids' carbon footprint before having babies.

As a dad of four, Glenn got a bit sarcastic in his response to yet another anti-kids think piece.

“I agree: You bring a newborn into your house and they are going to mess with your environment in a big way,” he said. “And the ethical consequences? Baby wakes up in the middle of the night. Do you pretend to be asleep and hope your spouse deals with it?”
