There are no facts anymore, only emotions
On Thursday's episode of "The Chad Prather Show," author Eric Rittmeyer joined the show to talk about mental toughness in the era of triggered college students.
"These kids are more about social media than social interaction," Eric said. "So they can sit behind a keyboard and do what they need to do but when it comes to social interaction they miss that. So they go through school and they memorize and regurgitate, memorize and regurgitate. Then, they enter the workforce and the minute someone says something they don't like they go nuts and start running, screaming out the door that they were triggered."
Chad added that kids today have not been taught the skills required to deal with rejection.
"The problem is that this has expanded to politics, I call it emotion-based politics. Emotion-based politics means that there is no facts anymore. So the minute that I come at you with facts that disagree with the beliefs that you have, you automatically default to racist, bigot, et cetera," Eric said.
Chad asserted that socialists are currently whitewashing America's history.
