Levin: We are 'unmoored' from the Constitution

On the first hour of his radio show, LevinTV host Mark Levin talked about how bloated the federal government has become — and how it violates the intentions of the framers of the Constitution.

Levin talked about how the “all-powerful” Supreme Court has gone far beyond the Founders’ intentions.

“No way was the Supreme Court to be this powerful,” he argued.

Levin then turned to the federal bureaucracy, two million strong, and how Congress has enlarged government more and more.

“Look at the bureaucracy. Look at the power of the bureaucracy … where did that come from?" he asked. “It’s nowhere in the Constitution.”

Levin explained that Congress “delegates its legislative power to unelected individuals. ... You don't even know who they are.”

“And yet it's assumed that they are noble, and it is assumed that they have power over you. Is that anywhere in the Constitution of the United States? Well, that’s not representation, is it?”

“It's assumed that all powers are granted to the federal government,” he concluded, adding that federalist principles only apply to rogue officials who seek to pursue a leftist agenda. Listen:
