LevinTV is marking the 16th anniversary of September 11th with a special episode, available free on CRTV.
Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin interviews activist Debra Burlingame, sister of Charles “Chic” Burlingame III, the pilot of American Airlines Flight 77 that was hijacked and flown into the Pentagon in 2001.
Burlingame tells Levin why it is more critical than ever to relive the memories and emotions of 9/11.
“The first thing that people remember, aside from the chaos and the harrowing pictures, is how we all felt. The emotional impact of this,” Burlingame said. “There’s a lot of talk about the unity we felt then, and I think that’s important because we don’t feel that very much now.”
Burlingame shared her thoughts on how America today seems to lack the “moral rectitude” we had just a short few years ago, when first confronted with the reality of terrorism.
Her message to other 9/11 families, to the whole nation, is that here — in America — we have freedom, our one defining characteristic.
And we can never give up fighting for America, to preserve that freedom.
