At Wednesday's White House press briefing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders got visibly emotional when she was asked by a child about school safety and the fear kids and parents feel towards school shootings.
It was a touching, human moment.
Sanders said the administration takes this issue seriously and that the president's school safety commission will be meeting this week to "discuss the best ways forward and how we can do every single thing within our power to protect kids in our schools and to make them feel safe and make their parents feel good about dropping them off."
