Media SMEAR journalist John Solomon after research on DNC and Ukraine corruption

On the radio program Wednesday, Glenn Beck defended journalist John Solomon, the award-winning investigative reporter who has become the target of a brutal smear campaign by the mainstream media after uncovering evidence of DNC corruption in Ukraine.

Over the past several years, Solomon has released a series of well-researched reports that show how former Vice President Joe Biden used unethical practices to help his son, Hunter, profit as a board member of Burisma Holdings, a Ukranian natural gas firm. Biden later bragged that he strong-armed Ukrainian leaders into scrapping an investigation into corruption at, you guessed it, Burisma Holdings. Read more on this here.

But Solomon's findings didn't end with the Bidens. His investigations have uncovered corruption during the Obama administration, involving key Democratic players like Hillary Clinton and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who allegedly used Ukraine to launch the Russia collusion probe in an effort to take down President Donald Trump.

Now, the media is smearing Solomon as a right-wing nut job and conspiracy theorist, begging the question: why is the press so desperate to discredit a journalist who played such a key role in uncovering collusion between U.S. leadership and a foreign government?

For his part, Solomon maintains that he stands by his stories "100 percent," adding that they are all "completely accurate and transparent" with "embedded the documents and videos we collected in each story for all to see."

"I want to talk to you a little bit about a journalist. A guy who has worked for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, ... [and] the Associated Press. He is an award-winning investigative journalist," Glenn said of Solomon. "He is an equal opportunity reporter. He is not someone who is looking for his truth. He's looking for the truth. But since he has started working on Ukraine, and telling the truth, and doing the only real heavy lifting on Ukraine, he is being destroyed now in the press."

"John Solomon is a good reporter. He is a fair reporter. He is a guy who has taken on both sides. He is a guy who has taken on investigative reporting against -- against the odds in more than just politics," added Glenn. "He's a guy who has done great work and won many awards from the people who are now tearing him down, only for political purposes. I'm not sure what the truth is, but I am sure of this: You're not getting it."
