On Thursday, "Pseudo-Intellectual" host Lauren Chen discussed recent statements made by Bill Maher on his TV show that he wanted an economic recession so that President Donald Trump will "go away."

In this clip, Lauren points out why this is unbelievably selfish and detached and why it is dumb to want the leader of a nation to fail.

"A lot of people aren't taking that too kindly, which I think is fair," Lauren said.
