Two weeks after the midterm elections, President Barack Obama plans to unveil his latest domestic accomplishment -- a children's book.
"Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters" will reportedly be a tribute to 13 influential Americans, "from the first president, George Washington, to baseball great Jackie Robinson to artist Georgia O'Keeffe." The 40-page book is due out Nov. 16 with a list price of $17.99.
According to the AP, President Obama has pledged to donate author proceeds to "a scholarship fund for the children of fallen and disabled soldiers serving our nation."
Update: Columnist Byron York notes that the president's children are "so off-limits, they're on the cover of his new book."
