While sitting in a Barnes & Noble Cafe in Midtown Manhattan, listening to all the people complaining about the weekly snow storm that has made walking in the city closer to training on the Olympic luge track, I noticed these boots on the woman sitting at the table next to me.
Yes, they are made from petroleum-based products. Therefore, the more boots sold, the more oil needed to be refined and burned in the creation of these boots with a message.
(I did ask permission before taking this photo. The wearer gave me the OK, as long as I did not identify her.)
