The below video was purportedly shot in Russia last week. In the shocking clip, a woman is violently attacked by a polar bear. The disturbing scenario shows the animal clawing at her and then tossing her.
While the attack, itself, is startling, you'll be even more surprised to see the victim stand up and walk away -- albeit dazed -- from the incident. Daily Mail recaps the scenario:
It is thought the woman managed to escape with her life after one onlooker threw an object towards the bear, scaring it away from a second assault.Instead, the woman eventually composes herself and shuffles to safety as the animal remains out of sight behind a wall.
