Rick Perry's presidential campaign has gone so poorly, his own state doesn't even want him to win the nomination. The governor polling third in Texas at 18 percent behind Mitt Romney (24 percent) and Newt Gingrich (23 percent), according to a new Public Policy poll.
Just four months ago Public Policy Polling found Perry was by far the favorite in his home state with 72 percent preferring him to be the nominee. Romney's support was at 18 percent.
Ouch.
