"Romney's saving the soul of America - so he doesn't have to baptize us after we're dead."
--A joke tweeted by Salon's Joan Walsh following Mitt Romney's victory in last night's primaries. It's a reference to the Mormon practice of baptizing the dead (even the dead who weren't Mormon while living), which Romney has admitted to doing in the past. Walsh shouldn't quit her day job as an editor but the joke is moderately funny. Unfortunately for her, there was some backlash on Twitter and she gave a non-apology shortly thereafter.
