As I wrote yesterday NBC's "Today" show has hired Rosie O'Donnell, whose own show on the Oprah Winfrey Network was recently canceled. O'Donnell was brought aboard to join former co-host of "The View" Star Jones and "cool dad" Donny Deutsch on the regular "Professionals" panel.
Who wants to see more Rosie? After her appearance on the show this morning, I do. Rosie stood up for all that is sacred and right when Deutsch claimed, while wearing a pink tie and a straight face, that Lindsay Lohan is "our generation's Elizabeth Taylor."
It was announced yesterday that Lohan will portray the late Elizabeth Taylor in a made-for-TV movie.
O'Donnell responded to Deutsch, "You're out of your mind. You're a crackhead. You get out of here. The last thing she did good, she was 16."
All of that is true. Or likely true. And why did Deustch say "our generation" like he's not about 30 years older than Lohan?
And when he said Lohan is "our generation's" Taylor, did he meanthis Elizabeth Taylor?
