America's favorite game show host Donald Trump has cut ties with a national treasure: USA Today.
"Just cancelled my subscription to @USATODAY," Trump tweeted yesterday. "Boring newspaper with no mojo--must be losing a fortune. Founder @AlNeuharth has always been a lightweight---just like his paper."
(No mojo?)
USA Today responded to Trump's tweet, "That's disappointing -- sorry to hear that." The publication then sent a follow-up tweet with "background" on Trump's relationship with USA Today; the tweet linked to a column highly critical of Trump by Al Neuharth, the founder of USA Today.
"Trump is a smart guy in some ways," Neuharth wrote. "But he's a clown who loves doing or saying things, no matter how ridiculous they may be."
