On Fox News this morning Ann Romney said Mitt's recent surge in the polls has been a result of his performance in the debate last week.
"I was thrilled with my husband. Loved the debate. Thought it was terrific," she said. "I've been waiting for a very, very long time for people to see my husband like how I see him. And I think people got a chance to do that at the debate."
She said the debate allowed Mitt to talk around the media, which she said has been unfair to the candidate.
"He's been so mischaracterized, so misrepresented, attacked, and I feel like unfairly treated by the media as well," she said. "So for me it was chance for people to see him unfiltered, to listen with their ears, see with their eyes and say 'this is a good guy.'"
